PRLog (Press Release)– Jun 16, 2011– JUNE 16, YORK, ENGLAND, UK – Britain's leading bakery system specialist RedBlack Software today announces the general release of a brand-new Automated Orders function for its CyBa best rc helicopter buy sell market place ke Touch shop management solution.
CyBake Touch is a stand-alone product sold entirely separately from RedBlack's popular flagship CyBake 3 ERP system. CyBake Touch runs on EPOS tills to provide a link between head office and retail outlets via the internet. It was designed to reduce waste and increase profits in shops by improving ordering quality and reducing time spent on daily ordering routines.
CyBake Touch's developers have now introduced a new Automated Orders function that generates its own suggested orders for a retail baker's following week. The suggested orders are created from an algorithm agreed with each customer. For example, on short shelf-life products, the Automated Orders software may use an average of the last weeks' actual sales plus a % uplift to suggest what should be ordered for the following week.
By using the data-processing power of modern computing to review very large amounts of data, CyBake Touch's Automated Orders function can now produce suggested future orders in a way that is not practical manually. In tests, these orders have proved better than those produced by shop managers who have limited time and capacity to carry out this mission-critical process. Better ordering leads to greater sales and less wastage.
Shop managers are still required to review and confirm the suggested orders through the CyBake Touch interface. This allows them to moderate the results for any par remote control helicopter ochial information they are aware of such as school holidays and local events. CyBake Touch's intuitive Automated Orders function also relieves shop managers from form-filling and time on the telephone to head office, releasing them to lead their staff and serve their customers.
Why is this important? Take a bakery shop that orders 10 brown loaves. The shop sells all 10, so the manager ups the order to, say, 16. CyBake Touch's Automated Orders tool, which has the benefit of its data logic, actually suggests 11. The next day the shop only sells 9 loaves. Because of CyBake Touch's Automated Orders tool, the bakers has only wasted 2 loaves instead of 7.
RedBlack Software managing director Jane Tyler provides a further example of the benefits of CyBake Touch's intuitive Automated Orders function. She says: "The new tool helps to correct assumptions among shop managers about consumer trade-offs. Say a customer visits your shop because they want a steak pasty. There are none left, so the customer buys a meat and potato pasty instead. In fact, all the meat and potato pasties sell out as well but it's difficult to work out that the shop has only sold all of them because it has sold out of the steak pasties. CyBake Touch's Automated Orders tool can tell the shop manager that they don't need to increase orders for both pasties, they only need to increase the orders for one."
RedBlack Software's new Automated Orders function is available as of today as an optional extra for CyBake Touch users.
